Delete your Splitr account

This page explains how to delete your account and data in Splitr, published by Codigic Solutions. There are two ways to do it, and neither costs anything or requires you to contact us first.

Option 1 — in the app (immediate)

Settings → Delete account

  1. Open Splitr.
  2. Go to the Settings tab.
  3. Tap Delete account.
  4. Confirm. You may be asked to sign in again first, to prove it is you.

Deletion happens straight away. There is no waiting period, no queue, and nothing is kept in a recoverable state — so it cannot be undone.

Option 2 — by email (if you have uninstalled)

codigicsolutions@gmail.com

If Splitr is no longer installed, your account still exists on our servers and you do not need to reinstall to be rid of it. Email codigicsolutions@gmail.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my Splitr account.

We use the address you write from to identify the account, so please send it from that one. We will confirm once it is done, and always within 30 days.

What is deleted

What is kept, and why

In a group you shared with other people, one thing deliberately remains: your membership entry — a display name, and the expense shares attached to it — disconnected from your account. Your account is no longer linked to it, and it can no longer be signed into.

It stays because deleting it would remove your share from every expense you were part of and silently change what everyone else in that group is owed. Other people's records of who paid for what are not ours to rewrite when you leave.

The expenses and settlements you added to a shared group also remain, as part of that group's record, for the same reason.

If you want that entry gone as well, either:
